HIJAMA
Pain Relief: Many people turn to Hijama therapy to help manage pain, especially for conditions like back pain, neck pain, and headaches. By creating a suction effect, the cups used in the therapy can help increase blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote healing.
Detoxification: One of the traditional beliefs behind Hijama therapy is that it helps remove harmful substances and toxins from the body. The practice is said to draw out stagnant blood, promoting the flow of fresh blood and lymph, and thereby aiding in the removal of toxins.
Improvement in Blood Circulation: Hijama therapy can stimulate blood flow and increase oxygenation to the treated areas. This improved circulation can accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall cellular function.
Stress and Relaxation: The act of cupping can be relaxing for many individuals, similar to receiving a massage. It can trigger the release of stress and tension in the muscles, leading to a deep sense of relaxation. The therapy may also help in reducing the symptoms of stress and anxiety by promoting a sense of calm and well-being.

Lupus SLE
This paperwork shows a clinical case that I am working on at my clinic.
Clinical case:
Patient is 28 years old. She was diagnosed with lupus SLE at the age of 17, she was hospitalized 10 years ago, and another time recently before coming to see me seeking help. The reason for hospitalization was systemic Lupus complication.
The patient was experiencing issues with kidneys (lupus nephritis), has severe edema and swelling, joints completely inflamed, and muscles were getting weaker.
Physically, the patient couldn’t lift her body, wasn’t able to go to the washroom on her own and she was giving a walker.
She developed pneumonia while hospitalized which went away later on, but breathing was still labored.
Arthritis in hand was bad and she gets locked fingers after a mild work on the computer or phone.
All the joints were very painful (hip, knees, ankle, shoulders …). She also has asthma which gets worse with Lupus flare up.
She has vision problems, bad migraines daily, frequent and painful urination, memory problems, lots of stress and depression.
She is on medication including prednisone, doxazosin, perindopril, hydroxychloroquine, Lasix.
Patient came to see me a month ago, we did a thorough consultation and we agreed on treatment plan of 3 times a week for one hour session each time.
After two weeks of treatment, lots of her symptoms disappeared and the patient gained lots of strength and energy.
The patient was able to walk with no pain and with no walker, No more locked fingers, no more migraines, no more pain in the joints hip, knees. Heel, ankle, the ankle edema reduced by 60%.
third week we were already able to start working on her internal and kidneys.
Patient told me that her days are much easier and happier, she gets to smile more often, she has more hope, and her stress level went down significantly.
Lupus is an auto immune disease which means that the patient needs to keep me on her contact list for long time. We still have long way to go but lots of good expectations will be allowed along the way, and her health will get better and better as long as she stays regular to her treatment sessions and follow her MD and my instructions.
